The Air Jordan 1 High “Rookie of the Year” pays tribute to Michael Jordan’s outstanding 1984–85 rookie season. The shoe features golden wheat nubuck overlays inspired by the colour of the jacket Jordan wore during his award speech, contrasted with white tumbled leather on the toe and side panels. Black laces, Swoosh branding and collar details sharpen the look. A special storytelling touch hides printed stats and a quote from Jordan on the inside of the ankle flaps. The high top profile offers supportive lockdown around the ankle, while the padded tongue and foam midsole provide day-long comfort.
